Meet the Staff

Tony Brendgard - A Montana native originally from Havre, is the owner of Fleet Feet Bozeman. Tony has been in Bozeman since 1988.  His background is in running and triathlons. After running track in High School and College he ventured into triathlons. Along with 8 Ironman Triathlons and numerous shorter distance triathlons, he especially enjoys the marathon distance.

Rob Pickels - Rob has been with Fleet Feet since August 2006. He is working toward his masters degree in Exercise Science at MSU. Rob manages the store with his wealth of knowledge, experience and great attitude. He is finally getting his swimming up to speed with his cycling and running ability.

Tyler Melzer- He is currently studying to take his Dental Exams this spring. Tyler has quickly learned our "Fitlosophy" at Fleet Feet. He approaches everyday with high energy and eager to help everyone of our valuable customers. He looks forward to doing a few more races this summer and showing his new dog Gretel the local trails.

Bryce Young- Bryce recently moved from Houston, Texas to go to school at Montana State. He has been running since junior high, and continues to be an avid runner and outdoorsman. Bryce contributes to the Fleet Feet experience with his up-beat personality and strong knowledge of the sport of running.

Jessica Caton- She recently graduated from Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado and moved out to Bozeman to finally have a "warm" winter. She runs religiously and can't wait to get out on those spectacular trails that the Gallatin Valley has to offer.

Amanda Jones- Amanda is the newest member to the Fleet Feet staff.  She recently moved here from Ohio to share her passion for mountains and running with the community of Bozeman.  Amanda enjoyed a cross country and track and field career during college and looks forward to participating in local races.

Stella - Often “customers” do not come to buy shoes, they come to say hello to our mascot. Stella is usually holding down the front rug with her duck near by. Stop in and give her belly a rub!
